Professional volleyball player Cho Jae-sung, who was accused of trying to evade military service by faking an epilepsy, has been sentenced to a suspended prison term.
The Seoul Southern District Court sentenced Cho Jae-sung to one year in prison and two years of probation yesterday (April 24) for violating the Military Service Act.
The court explained the reason for the sentence by saying, “We took into account that he is a first-time offender, that he confessed to the crime to the investigating agency, and that he is about to enlist in the military on the 25th after receiving a notice from the Armed Forces Recruitment Agency’s social service personnel.”토토사이트
