Liverpool’s 20-year-old prodigy is set to change clubs after just one season.
There are teams after Liverpool’s Fabio Carvalho, according to reports. We all know that Premier League clubs are lining up to sign him on loan, but this time it’s an overseas club that wants to buy him outright.
Carvalho, who rose through the ranks at Fulham, made a surprise move to Liverpool last summer. The Reds paid a £5.1 million transfer fee to invest in their future.먹튀검증
Initially, it seemed to be a success. Carvalho impressed with back-to-back goals against Bournemouth and Newcastle in August last year.
However, after the World Cup in Qatar, he faded into obscurity. Since the World Cup, he has played a mere eight minutes of Premier League football. Most recently, he played six minutes as a substitute against Leicester City in the middle of this month.
It was inevitable. With the arrival of Cody Gakpo in the January transfer window and the improving form of Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota, there was no room for Carvalho.
So, despite still having four years left on his contract at Liverpool, there was constant talk that he could leave on loan to another Premier League club this summer. Then came the outright transfer rumours. According to local journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have received an offer from an overseas club for Carvalho.
It’s not known who it is or what the fee would be, but it’s looking increasingly likely that Carvalho won’t be wearing a Liverpool shirt next season. Jürgen Klopp has also mentioned the possibility of a loan move for Carvalho in his recent press conference.
According to Romano, several Premier League clubs want Carvalho on loan, but the player himself hasn’t accepted any offers. However, he believes that his next destination will be determined by the project that is presented to him.
