Noah Syndergaard, who signed a one-year, $13 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, is preparing for a comeback.
Syndergaard is fit and looking for a full-time season. He predicted a revival by throwing a 96 mph fastball already in spring camp.
The ‘New York Post’ said, “Syndergaard is already throwing 96 mph and is expected to be able to throw the ball up to 98 mph. But he wants to throw 100 miles consistently, and he is working hard to achieve that.”
Back with the New York Mets, Syndergaard threw a fastball, averaging 99 mph, and established himself as one of the best starters along with Jacob deGrom.
But since he underwent Tommy John surgery, his velocity has declined, and he averaged 94.5 mph last year. Nevertheless, he raised expectations as he succeeded in achieving 10 wins in 3 years.
New to the Dodgers, Syndergaard forms a rotation with Clayton Kershaw, Julio Urias, and Tony Gonsolin.
He said, “Honestly, I could have made more money if I went to another team. But I wanted to give him the best chance to win the World Series. I’m sure that opportunity is with the Dodgers. I will work with this team,” he promised.메이저놀이터
Syndergaard signed a one-year contract, so his performance all season is important for his big deal. Attention is focusing on how he will perform for the Dodgers and whether he will be able to win the World Series championship ring according to his goal.
